Privacy Policy

We are passionate about maintaining positive trusting relationships within our Club and protecting our team, including gymnasts, parents, coaches, staff as well as our reputation. Please help us by adhering to the following Code:

·         We treat others with kindness and respect. The Club endeavors to always treat others with respect and courtesy and will not tolerate disrespectful, abusive, rude or disruptive behavior.

·         It is important to always support a child’s involvement and help children enjoy gymnastics. We support gymnasts to recognize good performance not just results and we do not belittle gymnasts for a poor performance.

·         At events all associated with the Club are urged to represent us positively and to set a good example by recognizing good sportsmanship and applauding performances of all gymnasts no matter the club.

·         We support our coaches and do not tolerate conduct which undermines coaches. We do not tolerate conduct which inappropriately challenges officials, coaches, parents or gymnasts.

·         Inappropriate messaging will not be tolerated (WhatsApp & messenger groups are set up by coaches to inform parents of any information, regarding competitions and rehearsals. This is not an opportunity for parents to discuss negative or inappropriate comments).

·         Please do not enter the gym during a session. If a child needs to be contacted, please ask a member of staff to ensure the child is informed. 

·         Gymnasts need to be ready at least 5 minutes before class starts with a drink, having already been to the toilet. Please allow plenty of time to gain entry. It is a Safety Requirement that all gymnasts are signed in. Please always contact toni@rvaagymnastics.com in advance if your child will be absent.

·         Photos may only be taken and used in accordance with the British Gymnastics Child protection policy.

·         Gymnasts must be collected on time. We are unable to let gymnasts leave without a responsible adult collecting them. In order to safeguard our gymnasts, we are required to contact the Local Authority if your child is either regularly not collected or is collected more than 20 minutes late. 

·         Breaches of this Code may in the discretion of the Club result in immediate termination of membership.

·         Encourage your gymnast to adhere to the Code, Club and Training rules and to participate within them.

·         Please note that we respect and protect personal data. Staff and coaches are not at liberty to discuss the personal data of gymnasts with others.

·         Please only contact staff and coaches in respect of club business between the hours of 1.00pm and 8.00pm Monday to Friday. Please be considerate and do not text or message outside of these hours.

·         All gymnasts must provide 1 calendar months notice of their intention to cancel their membership of RVAA, Or pay 1 months class fees to leave without prior notice.
